Staff were nice, breakfast was good however the room wasn't greatly clean. Also some parts of the hotel showing wear. The lifted carpet on the third floor on a corner by the three thirties nearly took me down but I saved my balance...that carpet needs looking at immediately. The "health club" was lacking somewhat...the pool was cold (too much so for my little one to stay in) and didn't feel/smell clean, you'd know what I mean if you were there. No express check out either, or if there was, it did t seem obvious.
I have to say ALL the staff i spoke to are so friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is clean has great parking and breakfast buffet is amazing. Room is great too with comfy beds. Usually in hotels you hear bits of noise however i didnt considering lots of families with children were staying too. I cannot stress again how friendly all the staff are it made me very happy. Thank you for having us and we will definitely reccomend and stay again with you. Oh and the indoor swimming pool is great kids had a great time.
The Holiday Inn is clean and pleasant with staff that are very welcoming and friendly. The standard rooms are quite small but they are well equipped and clean. The bar area is very smart and spacious and the evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. The free parking and proximity to Lego land are also positives. The health club is run very well, with clean and powerful showers and tea and coffee making facilities. The pool is warm and of a good size. Overall, excellent value for money and highly recommended, however, do not book here if you’re looking for pool facilities as they are closed during some stays.
Nice hotel. Rooms were clean and tidy, and had a good shower. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very good at keeping distances and offering hand sanitising stations. Unfortunately one of the things they currently do is not enter your room during your stay, so while we could get clean towels etc. we had to make our own bed!!!
